Quantum Day 2026

Quantum and Beyond

On 12th of June 2026 the Stuttgart Media University will host the "Quantum Day". Each semester, the “Days” format at the computer science and media study cluster covers different topics and provide information on the latest trends. Experts will provide fascinating insights into current developments and fields of application for quantum technologies through interesting talks and a panel discussion. This year's theme, "Quantum and Beyond", will explore both technical topics such as post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and societal issues surrounding quantum technologies, such as technology assessment and quantum ethics.

No prior knowledge is required. The event will be held in English.

The event will take place from 2:00pm to 5:30pm. Those interested can attend either in person or online via https://events.mi.hdm-stuttgart.de/
